Senior Spotlight {Madi | Hermantown High School}
It's wonderful to have my Senior Spotlights going again! It's so fun to see a few more pictures of each senior and read their answers to my fun/silly/weird interview questions. Our third Spotlight of the year is one of my favorite seniors, Madison. Of course, I might be biased.... or just a proud auntie! I love being a part of my nieces' and nephews' senior years. Actually, I'm pretty much the first big event that all seniors experience, since most sessions are taken before school starts.
Madi's session was early in the morning so I spent the night at their house in the Duluth area. We started in their awesome yard because they have an old shed with cool wood. Then we headed to Leif Erickson park to take pictures along Lake Superior. It was such a lovely, warm summer morning. We had a blast finding beautiful spots and she even walked in the freezing water for us!
Best of luck, Madi! Love you,
Janna
Q: What is your favorite thing to do outdoors? A: My favorite thing to do outdoors is hike with my family and friends. We have so many memories of hiking the trails with our dog, Cosmo. I can't wait to go on some hiking trips this summer with them!
Q: If you could go to school in a foreign country, which country would you pick? A: If I could study abroad in any foreign country I would go to Finland. My family is super Finnish, so we love taking saunas, drinking coffee, and skiing. It would be so cool to experience the culture and see everything Finland has to offer.
Q: Who makes you laugh more than anyone? A: My little sister, Chloe, makes me laugh more than anyone else. She is such a little ray of sunshine and is my best friend. Even when she gets on my nerves we are still laughing. I'm looking forward to hanging out with her a bunch this summer.
Q: What’s one thing you’re excited to do this summer? A: This summer I'm excited to camp with my family. My parents have been planning some incredible trips that we are all excited to go on. I'm also looking forward to kayaking with my mom and grandma. Finally being able to spend time with my friends and relax will be a nice change of pace from busy school life.
Q: What’s something you’ll miss about high school? A: The thing I'll miss the most about high school is chilling with the girls at lunch and joking around in class. Its been so great to make all the memories we've made together, and I'll miss seeing them everyday. I'm so excited to see what their futures hold! I know they're going to do amazing things.
