Senior Spotlight {Amelia | Greenway High School}
When Amelia contacted me about taking her senior pictures last summer, she was clear on one thing: she wanted them taken with lilacs. I was happy to comply! Lilacs are one of my favorite flowers and early June is a great time of year for an outdoor session. June is was cooler, less muggy, and way less busy (for me, anyway) than July and August.
When we were done with the lilacs, we headed to her grandparents' house in the country. We found so many beautiful places for pictures there. The best part? Now her senior pictures include nostalgic places from her childhood. Incorporating important locations into your session makes your images even more special!
All the best for your future, Amelia! Love, Janna
Q: What’s something you love to make? A: I love to make pie. It doesn't even matter if it's a holiday, it's just a great desert! Pie is better than cake.
Q: What’s one thing you’re excited to do this summer? A: I'm excited to move out of my house and into a house with two of my best friends!
Q: What do you cook better than anyone? A: Popovers. They're a light fluffy roll that is best served with butter and jelly 🙂
Q: If you could go to school in a foreign country, which country would you pick? A: I would love to go to Finland. I've been planning on studying Finnish as a minor, and it would be a great experience to go there and use the language in my day to day life!
Q: What’s the most memorable thing you’ve gotten in the mail? A: Probably a single pack of M&Ms that had to be bubble wrapped quite a few times to fill up the size of the box. It was very amusing.
